I’m gonna go ahead and put this out there because I am just sleep deprived enough to be extra honest and bad at internet politics.

If you are or, at least, were very close friends with my partner’s ex, and like hung out with my partner and that ex while they were a couple, could you NOT lurk the shit out of all of my blogs/social media without being like “hey these are my intentions?” Because I have a real hard time not kind of assuming that you’re horrible every time you pop up on my shit (which is frequent) and dealing with that negative energy is bumming me out.

I don’t want to dislike you. In fact! Let’s be friends. But I will continue assuming the worst about you if you don’t introduce yourself and acknowledge that history Because that is what is in my, and my partner’s, best interests.
